Do I need to know exactly what’s wrong before I book?

No. Many people come in feeling unsure, confused, or simply aware that something isn’t settled. You don’t need clarity before starting — that often comes through the process.

Is this therapy or life coaching?

My work sits in the space of trauma-informed life coaching and therapeutic support. It is structured, ethical, and focused on emotional safety, growth, and healing, without clinical diagnosis or medical treatment.

What if my trauma feels “small” compared to others?

Trauma is not measured by severity or comparison. If an experience affected your sense of safety, identity, or wellbeing, it matters. Your experience is valid.

Will I have to talk about painful memories in detail?

No. You are never required to relive or describe traumatic experiences in detail. Trauma-informed work focuses on safety and regulation, not re-exposure.

What if I get emotional during a session?

Emotions are welcome here. There is no expectation to hold yourself together. Sessions are paced carefully, and support is always grounded and respectful.

How do online sessions stay safe and confidential?

All sessions are conducted via Psychology Today’s secure platform, either through the app or your browser. Sessions are private, encrypted, and never recorded.

What if I don’t know what to say in the session?

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to perform or explain things perfectly. We take it one step at a time, and silence is allowed.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number. Some people come for a few focused sessions, while others choose ongoing support. We review this together as we go.

Can I start with free assessments instead?

Yes. All assessments are free to use and can be explored at your own pace. They’re a gentle way to gain insight before deciding on next steps.

Is there any pressure to book ongoing sessions?

No. You are always in control of how often you attend, or whether you continue. Support is offered — never pushed.

What if I’m not sure this is the right fit?

Uncertainty is welcome. You’re encouraged to ask questions, read through resources, or book a single session to see how it feels.

What if I’m in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts?

If you are in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services right away. I do provide crisis and suicide-intervention support, and if you are safe enough to engage in a session, you are welcome to reach out. Together, we can assess the best next steps and ensure you’re not facing this alone.
